Where do I start, everyone has their own opinion about bands that should have played, that did play. Most people I spoke to have their one band that they wanted to see. Others said that Kix needs to be there every year because Kix is M3. Others were just happy to be there for the event itself and for those people it really does not matter who plays as long as they have a good time. I think I fall into all of the above categories. For me personally I am happy there is an east cost destination festival that plays the music I grew up on and that can I go to.
There is so much to talk about so I am only going to pick and choose key things that stick out. This was an early day. At M3 you have so many choices.
Second Stage:
Pretty Boy Floyd was the first band I caught. The only bad part about their set was they had a short set time. I would have liked to have seen a longer set but with so many bands playing its understandable why it was so short.
The songs they played rocked, going on that early in the day has to be hard for any band but the P.B.F. fans showed up and they let the band know it.
Pretty Boy Floyd: Setlist Was As Follows
Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz
Toast Of The Town
Rock and Roll Outlaws

Faster Pussycat: These guys always put on a fun show. If you are a fan you know what I’m talking about. I have seen these guys so many times but this time it seemed they brought their A game and nailed it.
Big Noize: All Star Cover Band Featuring: Joe Lynn Turner, Phil Soussan, Carlos Cavazo, and Vinny Appice. Considering Monday the 16th marked the first year of Ronnie James Dio’s passing it was good to hear the Dio songs these guys played and Joe Lynn Turner did them well.

Shot In The Dark(Ozzy Osbourne cover)
Street Of Dreams(Rainbow cover)

Main Stage:
Whitesnake, Headlined the main stage this year. They are on tour in support of their 11th studio album “Forevermore” I have to say I am not the biggest Whitesnake fan but they put on a great show. David Coverdale’s voice was spot on. The guitar duel between Reb Beach And Doug Aldrich was fantastic.
And just to add we (my wife and I) left Columbia Maryland on Sunday the 15th to head home in upstate PA. and my only thought was sleep but we ended up seeing Whitesnake at Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe PA that night and they played just as well.
