Sunbury PA’s Rescue Hose Company Grille Room held their first ever Summer Fest Block Party Sat. June 30th 2012. The headliner was Hollywood’s own Bang Tango along with Avenging Autumn, Audio Burn and BURYTHESUN.
The event was to raise money for The Sunbury Rescue Hose Company #1. The people that attended the event had a blast. A lot of booze was consumed and the bands provided the soundtrack for the evenings festivities.
The entertainment started with BURYTHESUN who kicked the event off around 4pm followed by Audio Burn, Avenging Autumn and a blistering two hour set from Bang Tango. After the show the guys did a meet n great and hung out for the rest of the night signing autographs, taking pictures and just making new friends.
On a personal note, to sum up this event I had a great time. The music was good and I got to meet a lot of wonderful people. This was not an average show. This was put together by volunteers who take pride in their community and their Fire House. It was fun for me to step outside the norm and cover an event like this. Congrats to Michelle Suhovsky for putting together a great event.
