Show Review: Drowning Pool, Nonpoint, Dropveil and Absolution 5-28-10 Eleanor Rigby’s / Jermyn, PA

Eleanor Rigby’s in Jermyn, PA was rocked last night by Drowning Pool and Nonpoint with openers Dropveil and Absolution. First let me tell you I have never been to an all ages show where the under 21 was kept away from the stage. To access the pit area you had to enter through the bar. I thought this was a bad move.

With that being said, the show was great. Openers Dropveil and Absolution did a great job with their sets. By the time Nonpoint got on the stage the place was packed, you couldn’t move and it seem like there was no air in the room at all. They really got the crowd charged up and ready for Drowning Pool. After the set change Drowning Pool came out and delivered. They played all the staple songs as well as a few new songs from their new self titled CD that come out April 27^th.
