Snider. Father and son will join for a special performance.

In addition, every ticket sold in advance helped sponsor a New York City school student for
a show in the ZO2 Free Concert Series, in which the band performs live concerts at various
public schools in the city to enhance each child’s musical experience and exposure to song and
dance, focusing on schools struggling for music department funding. Two shows were held
at P.S. 326 and P.S. 276 in Brooklyn on Friday, April 29.

ROCK ASYLUM is sponsored by EMG Pickups, NPNG Management, TKL Cases, Toad Works Pedals, D’Addario Strings, The Paulie Z Show, and DJ Alex Kayne.

ZO2 made history with its groundbreaking reality-based comedy show, Z-Rock, on the
Independent Film Channel (IFC). Z-Rock is currently the highest rated show of its kind on IFC.

ZO2 mixes a retro vibe from the 70s and 80s with the heavy crunch of the 90s and modern rock
paying homage to bands like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Stone Temple Pilots and Kng’s X. Paulie
Z, a native Brooklyn-ite, entertains vocals that expand over three octaves and is guaranteed to
mesmerize and amaze. Paulie, along with his brother, David Z. and Joey Cassata, formed ZO2
in 2002.

The group has released three albums: Casino Logic, Ain’t it Beautiful, and Tuesdays and
Thursdays, and has released four singles: That’s What’s Up, Heart Of Confusion, I Will Be
Alright and A Million Pieces in the last few months. ZO2 has toured with KISS and Poison and
opened for acts such as Stone Temple Pilots, Bret Michaels, Scorpions, Sammy Hagar and
Alice Cooper among others.

Rock Asylum’s Purple Carpet Event will take place 7 p.m. at the Gramercy Theater, 127 East 23rd St., New York City. The show will begin at 8 p.m.
