Bobaflex CD Review “Hell In My Heart”

Bobaflex CD Review “Hell In My Heart”

Bobaflex Warriors get ready to get your asses kicked because the boys will be unleashing “Hell In My Heart” August 30th. Let’s start off with the song “Bury Me With My Guns”, in an interview I did with Shaun McCoy he said the song was based on a comic book character who wanted to be buried with his guns so he could go to heaven and have a shootout with god. The concept alone is imaginative and to capture a story like that in one song is crazy but the band pulled it off. Not to mention it is the first single and it has gone to number one in several markets. I am sure the band could have written a whole album around the concept and it would have been fantastic. The song “Empty Man” reminds me of something Kiss would have done but heavier.  The song “Hate You” is just lyrically brutal. With a chorus that rings out “I hate you more than I hate myself, because you’re the one who, marched us all straight into hell and we’re never coming back“. And I can not for the life of me get the song “Chemical Valley” out of my head. I thought I had my CD pick of the year until I heard “Hell In My Heart”. I absolutely love this CD. It is full of pounding drums, thunderous bass lines and catchy guitar riffs. I thought the bands last CD “Tales From Dirt Town” was a great, containing one of my favorite songs “Home” but I have to say, I think “Hell In My Heart” is their best effort to date.
