Visual masterminds AVATAR have debuted another music video for their latest single “Bloody Angel” exclusively via BLOODYDISGUSTING.COM. Once again working with director Johan Carlén, the video reaches into metaphorical territories the band has not yet been.

The band released a video for the title track “Hail the Apocalypse” last month that now serves as a one-two punch coupled with “Bloody Angel.” Anyone familiar with AVATAR knows their taste for the visual medium with highly successful videos like “Smells Like A Freakshow,” “Torn Apart” and “Black Waltz.”

Hail the Apocalypse will be released tomorrow, May 13th. Pre-orders are still available via iTunes and the full track listing can be found below including a cover of Nirvana’s “Something in the Way.” AVATAR is currently on the road with POP EVIL and ESCAPE THE FATE along side GLAMOUR OF THE KILL on a full U.S. run, dates can be seen here.

AVATAR have seen recent success with the “Bloody Angel.” Entering the radio charts at #37 and climbing all the way to #35, the band is excited to see such an increase being a European band.

The new effort will be the follow up to the highly successful Black Waltz that was released in 2012. The band saw immediate success surrounding the release of the LP, particularly at commercial radio. Metal Hammer Magazine nailed it when they described AVATAR songs as, “each one is a stylistic roller coaster ride!” The band made their first visit to the U.S. in support of the release, touring with SEVENDUST and LACUNA COIL.

Just after starting production on Hail The Apocalypse, AVATAR had the privilege of supporting AVENGED SEVENFOLD & FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH in Europe. With DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL in the U.K. and the prestigious ROCK ON THE RANGE FESTIVAL already confirmed in the U.S., AVATAR is eager to bring their new music to their fans.
