In celebration of their upcoming appearance at Forever Deaf Fest; Chicago’s own Americana metal phenom HUNTSMEN have unveiled a stunning new video for the fan favorite album track, “Atlantic City.” All of the footage for this video was shot between February and March 2018 during the HUNTSMEN/LIVID tour by Hank Pearl of Black Pearl Photo and edited by Kirill Orlov.
“Out of all the songs we play live from “American Scrap,” “Atlantic City” always seems to connect with the listener on a personal level. It breaks down the barrier of the performer and the viewer and puts everyone on an equal plane – allowing a connection to be made. That’s why we wanted to share some of our tour experience through this song and hopefully bring that connection to whomever might watch the video” HUNTSMEN drummer Ray Knipe tells Decibel.
HUNTSMEN released their prolific new album, American Scrap on February 23, 2018. Exposing the paradox of American nationalism and pride within a nation of immigrants; American Scrap show HUNTSMEN continuing the long standing tradition of storytelling in their music, conjuring the iconic and provoking vigor of Dylan, Springsteen and Waits with 8 tracks of gritty, cautionary, metallic despair. American Scrap was recorded at Treehouse Analog Studio in Chicago and is available now in the following formats: digital, compact disc, limited edition gold splatter LP and VHS.
