This past Saturday Nov. 6, Zakk Wylde brought Black Label Society’s Doom Trooping Over North America Tour through Stroudsburg PA where they played The Sherman Theater with support from Obituary and Prong.
B.L.S. wasted little time getting brutal, opening with Bleed For Me and Demise Of Sanity. Both songs from 2002’s 1919 Eternal Album . A fast guitar change than Overlord from 2010’s Order Of The Black.

Zakk broke out the double for the title track of 2003’s The Blessed Hellride before taking a seat behind the piano for Spoke In The Wheel. Images of the Abbot Brothers, Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul graced the back drop before Zakk went into a very touching rendition of In This River.
The guitar solo was really good because is was not the standard solo. Instead Zakk and guitarist Dario Larina made it entertaining by taking turns shredding and harmonizing while playing their guitars behind their heads. It was fun to watch.

The band went on to play Set You Free from their upcoming release Doom Crew Inc. And closed out the show with Stillborn. Black Label Society is just amazing to watch live. You can feel the power of every guitar chord, bass line and every lyric sang.
The overall tour package is great all three bands on this bill brings something different but yet it works really well.
