After 28 years it’s finally here – Sator – Return of The Barbie-Q-Killers.
In 1994, Sator released the cover album ‘Barbie-Q-Killers’, where the band made their own versions of obscure punk songs! The album quickly became a favourite among the band’s fans and the desire / demand for a sequel has haunted them ever since. After 28 years of waiting, it’s finally here – Sator – Return of The Barbie-Q-Killers!
Sator’s Chips Kiesbye comments:
“Here it is! ‘Return of The Barbie-Q Killers’. It only took us 25 years to record it.
It must be some kind of world record for a punk album. I won’t go into the reasons why it took so long but there are no short cuts to perfection I’ve heard. Like the ‘Barbie-Q Killers Volume 1’ album from 1994, it’s a tribute to the music and the bands we grew up with. A celebration of the punk and new wave scene 1976-1982. This is the music that made us start a band in the first place.
Punk will never die!”
