Black Veil Brides Stroudsburg PA Show Review

Black Veil Brides came through Stroudsburg PA, as The Black Mass Tour presented by Hot Topic hit The Sherman Theater on Friday, November 21st featuring Falling In Reverse as direct support as well as Set It Off and The Drama Club. The tour package itself seemed to be a good one. From the looks of things it seemed Falling In Reverse had just as many fans as Black Veil Brides. Set It Off did a really good job kicking things off and The Drama Club had sets between each change over. The moment finally arrived for Black Veil Brides to … Continue reading Black Veil Brides Stroudsburg PA Show Review

Lynam Pays Homage to the Sunset Strip

Young and strong, two words that aptly describe the experience that is Lynam on stage. Looking something to the tone of Motley Crue circa 1984 with the sound of all things hard rock from the decade of decadence, Lynam came off their 2014 Summer Tour leaving a refreshing taste in the mouths of concertgoers across the United States. This included taking the stage alongside artists including Kix, Jake E. Lee, Queensryche and even Kid Rock. Can more than a handful of modern hard rock artists stand up to that sort of comparison? Well …not in America, and these boys hail … Continue reading Lynam Pays Homage to the Sunset Strip

Gus G Kicks Off His US Solo Dates at the Whisky

Firewind guitarist and six string slinger that filled the shoes of Zakk Wylde in Ozzy’s band, Gus G.; the Greek Descendent of Metal Guitar Gods, kicked off his four date mini-tour in the US Southwest with a show at the Whisky A Go-Go on the famed Sunset Strip. Branching out on his own with his first Solo World Tour, Gus took the stage on October 15th with vocal hard rock hero Jeff Scott Soto fronting the band and near literally set the roof on fire! On stage, the band was rounded out by bassist Marty O’Brien, (Disturbed, StaticX, Lita Ford, Tommy Lee) and fellow Firewind compatriot Jo Nunez pounding out the drums, and quite masterfully.  The concert … Continue reading Gus G Kicks Off His US Solo Dates at the Whisky

Hookers And Blow Celebrates Ten Years at the Whisky (VIDEO)

It seems like yesterday when Guns n’ Roses keyboard player Dizzy Reed ponied up to the ill fated Cat Club in West Hollywood and turned on the juice with his top notch renditions of G n’ R tracks and popular classic rock covers. The names may have occasionally rotated in and out of the band through the years of on-stage performances, but the facts remain; in a world where hard rock gets overlooked by FM radio, the club going public continues to show support when the bad boys come to town! On September 5th, 2014,Hookers and Blow closed out a hot Saturday night at the Whisky with an explosion of real … Continue reading Hookers And Blow Celebrates Ten Years at the Whisky (VIDEO)

Future Villains Performs in the Viper Room Anniversary Week Line-up (Video Posted)

Making a second appearance in the same week as part of the Viper Room 21st Anniversary Week Celebration, Future Villains warmed the stage for Steel Panther on August 14th, 2014. With their mass appeal creating quite a stir, the band bears resemblance to the ideological description of a Sunset Strip Hard Rock Band with black leather and tattoos and a clean guitar distortion that harkens back to the analog era. With the floor packed to near capacity, the band proved just why they’re the one band to perform twice during the weeklong celebration at the Viper. This is why they were chosen to open for Steel Panther on the National tour … Continue reading Future Villains Performs in the Viper Room Anniversary Week Line-up (Video Posted)

The Viper Room Celebrates 21 years with Steel Panther / FULL SHOW VIDEO

It was a secret show; announced on the Social Network and promoted as the band name Jam Prancer, but those in the know were quick to share that the band was none other than the historically and politically incorrect kings of sexual perversion – Steel Panther. Known for their well rehearsed debauchery and having less than just six months ago given up their residency at the House Of Blues Hollywood, the news from the band was that the North American bus tour would keep them from returning to Hollywood for the foreseeable future. On Wednesday, August 13th, it was clear that the band would … Continue reading The Viper Room Celebrates 21 years with Steel Panther / FULL SHOW VIDEO
